Sunday programmes
- Sunday morning is a teach-in for all 11–14 year olds under the name of 'R&R'.
It's run by Val Meade and her team... come along to find out more!
- SNR (Sunday Night Re:Loaded): an alternative programme on Sunday evenings for
yrs 7–13. Young people join the church for worship, then at 7pm go to a separate
teaching tracks for school years 7–9 and 10–13, including time for discussion,
chilling out and games.
Cell Groups
- TBC's youth work is centred around a cell group structure. All young people
are encouraged to be part of a cell group – groups of 4–10 youth and 2 adults
meeting weekly. They can meet any time, any place – it's entirely up to the
group. Currently there are 10 cells meeting around the town.
Brigades
- Girls' and Boys' Brigades for young people in school years 7–9 are both going
strong on Friday nights down at TBC. They meet from 7.30–9.30pm, and have a wide
programme, as well as occasional weekend activities.
- Brigades Band, formed from members of both Girls' and Boys' Brigades in year
6 and above, practises every Monday evening from 7pm and performs at parade
services and local carnivals.
Amicus
- Amicus is a new mixed youth group which meets on Friday evenings from
8.15–10.30pm. There are a variety of activities on offer, many organised by the
youth including sports, and social time to just 'be' with friends. Anyone years
10+ welcome.

young person.
