What is "Alpha"?
- Anyone interested in finding out more about the Christian faith. People of all ages are welcome
- Learning at leisure. It is possible to learn about the Christian faith and enjoy yourself at the same time.
- People meeting together. An opportunity to get to know each other and make new friends.
- Helping one another. The small groups give you a chance to discuss issues raised during the talks.
- Ask anything. Alpha is a place where no question is regarded as too simple or too hostile.
Who is Alpha for?
Those seeking a purpose in life. People wanting to explore
Christianity and what it means to be a Christian. Those who want to
brush up on the basics of the Christian faith. Those who are unsure of
their faith.
When is Alpha?This term's programme runs on Monday evenings and includes an Away Day on a Saturday. Please see below for details of the next course.
What happens?The evening begins at 7:30pm with a meal together. There is a talk introducing that week's topic, followed by an opportunity to ask questions. Then we break into small groups to give you the opportunity to discuss any issues raised, in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
