- TODAY - Some of our young people will be doing a car wash to raise money
for their trip to Israel next year with the Hope 08 choir. They will be
washing cars during the 9.15am service and before and after the 11.00am family
service.
- Also today, after the 6.30pm service, there will be an ‘Evening
Refreshments Fundraiser’ - to support the work of missionaries in Belgium and
Burkina Faso. Join us for coffee, tea and homemade cake.
- If you have ordered CDs of Guy Chevreau’s talks at ‘The Gospel Mandate’
conference, they can be collected from today.
- Thank you to everyone who has helped to stock the Community Larder. We
would like to help some members of our community again this year by giving
them Christmas hampers. If you would like to donate items, please see the list
of items required in Reception.
- Please note that there will be a Church Meeting next Sunday, 23rd November
at 3.30pm. This will be a Special Church Meeting.
- The Derwent Day Centre is needing to recruit a new cook for Wednesdays and
Thursdays. Please speak to Barry Lock if you are interested or know somebody
who may be.
- The next Fish & Chip Supper will be held on Wednesday 26th November at
6.30pm. Booking forms are available in Reception.
- Champion’s Challenge The Reunion! Kid’s autumn disco party at TBC on
Saturday 22nd November from 6.00pm - 7.30pm for children in school years 1-6.
50p per child (payable on the door). Booking forms in Reception.
- You are invited to an Open House in support of the work of Boureima &
Susanna Diallo in Burkina Faso, West Africa on Saturday 22nd November from
10.30am to 4.00pm. Venue details from the church office Come and and enjoy
tea, coffee, light lunch and crafts sold in support of Fulani Ministries. Drop
in at any time! We look forward to seeing you.
- Quiz Night on 6th December at 7.30pm - Reminder to get your teams in ASAP
or individual names to make up teams.
- Helpers are needed for the Christmas Day Programme at TBC. Please contact
Margaret Bull for further details. Tickets for those who would otherwise be on
their own on Christmas Day are available from Reception 9.30am - 4.30pm
- There will be a Tearcraft Christmas Sale on Saturday 22nd November from
10.00am - 12 noon at St Stephen’s Waterloo Centre.
- ‘Yeshua Messiah’ Talkback evening at Christchurch on Saturday 22nd
November at 8.00pm. An opportunity to discuss the theology of the musical.
