By Car:Coming from M25: Take Junction 5 (A21) towards Sevenoaks and Hastings, and continue on the A21, taking the Hildenborough exit (B245). Follow the B245 for almost 4 miles through Hildenborough and into Tonbridge, then turn left up Dry Hill Park Road (signposted Shipbourne). At the roundabout turn left onto the A227, then left at the next roundabout, into Darenth Avenue. Turn right into Derwent Road and the church car park is on your left. Coming from Tunbridge Wells: Take the A26 through Southborough and into Tonbridge. Drive through Tonbridge High Street, taking the right-hand fork into the A227 once out of the centre. Cross the first roundabout, and turn left at the second into Darenth Avenue. Turn right into Derwent Road and the church car park is on your left. Coming from Maidstone: Take the A26 through Hadlow and into Tonbridge. As soon as you enter the 30 mile an hour zone, take the first right up Ridgeway. Go straight across the roundabout at the top of the hill into Darenth Avenue. Turn right into Derwent Road and the church car park is on your left. By Train or Bus:Take the train to Tonbridge. The church is about a half-hour brisk walk from the station, but there is a taxi rank outside the station if you prefer. If you turn left out of the station , across the roundabout and into the High Street you can take bus 218 or 219 to TBC. Buses run every 15 minutes Monday - Saturday, with the last bus at 7:48pm. To walk, continue up the High Street, taking the right-hand fork into the A227 once out of the centre. Cross the first roundabout, and turn left at the second into Darenth Avenue. Turn right into Derwent Road and the church is on your left. |
