What is “Way In”?

“Way In” is designed for people in transition, moving from a previous church into the community of TBC. A six week course examining the process of entering a new church, looking at TBC’s key values, and engaging with the process of moving into a small group setting (called Growth Groups).

What happens?

The evening begins at 8.00pm with a short presentation looking at the main theme for that evening and then a second, shorter presentation on another aspect of church life. We then break for drinks and nibbles and an opportunity to chat. This is followed by small discussion groups. We aim to conclude the evening by 9:45pm.

What will I need?

Participant booklets and bibles are all provided. Just bring yourself!

Where is “Way In” held?

In the Longmead Lounge at Tonbridge Baptist Church (TBC). There will be one of the team waiting to greet you at the church door and show you where the room is.

What do I need to do now?

When the next course is starting, collect a booking form from reception , complete and return it to the Church Office, or hand it to one of the welcomers at church on Sunday.

“Way In” Away Day

This gives us the opportunity to spend time away in a relaxed environment. The Saturday will provide an opportunity to consider the theme of transition, the implications of leaving somewhere behind and considering hopes ahead. There will be opportunities for worship, discussion, prayer, food and space to relax!
