'Tonbridge Debt Advice Centre', supported by the Churches of Tonbridge was set up in 2004 to offer a free and confidential debt advice service. Since then it has expanded to take in centres in Sevenoaks and Tunbridge Wells (also supported by the churches in those towns) and in 2011 was re-named West Kent Debt Advice to reflect the wider area the service covers.

Tonbridge Baptist Church provides the administrative base for West Kent Debt Advice.
