'The Well' and 'Eden' are two groups for women that meet regularly at TBC. Both groups welcome a range of speakers, and are a place to encourage one another, explore issues relating to our lives, share and learn together and seek God's leading as we aim to live our lives trusting the Holy Spirit and balancing home, family, work and church. Eden: Living in faith as daughters of God
'Eden' is a midweek oasis for women of all ages and has gone through several makeovers since its start over 30 years ago. It meets on several Wednesday mornings each month during term time. A creche is provided for preschool children the programme starts with coffee at 10:00, finishing at 11:30. The topics covered this year have included issues such as the challenges of parenthood, spending time with God, women in leadership and balancing the pressures of every-day life. ![]() 'The Well' has been running since 2004 and is a place to get to know other young women at TBC. While some topics look at areas of working life, the majority of the speakers this year are focussing on what it means to be a Christian woman in today's world - looking at issues such as friendships, materialism and PMT! It meets on the second Thursday each month, starting at 8pm, and includes plenty of time to chat over a drink and cake, as well as opportunities to share what's happening in our lives and time to worship together.
